Can I work remotely?
Yes! We are a fully remote team. You must be a citizen of the United States, located in the U.S.
What is your working style?
We strive to employ an Agile mindset in determining and executing strategy for our work as a team, which means we keep in mind the Agile Manifesto and Principles to help guide our decisions and practices.
Who is the American Bible Society?
ABS is a non-profit with headquarters in Philadelphia. We are over 200 years old and have been focused on Bible distribution and scripture access for all people. The Digital Bible Lab is a ministry enterprise within ABS focused on the digital space.
Will I need to travel in this role?
Yes, there will be occasional travel. We are a remote team with a high value for relationships and teamwork together. You may need to travel about once a quarter.
What is the culture of the Lab like?
We value your work and talents, and we value your personal and spiritual life. While there may be times where the team has to pull together for longer extended hours, this is the exception and we respect healthy work-life boundaries. We value honest and kind converation. We like emojis and gifs. We enjoy each others company and also work well independently. We prefer Slack over emails.
